About us

We are a local kayaking club central to Grimsby and Cleethorpes, but that does not restrict people from all around coming to paddle with us, with members from Holton LeClay, Tetney and Immingham.

The club teaches kayakers the basics of kayaking with coaches qualified (in the old BCU system) to give a kayaker their 3 star certificate.

We have a range of skills at the club, we have coaches who love white water, coaches who love to explore in their sea kayaks, and we have a coach who loves to open boat, we cater for all or if not most kayaking passions.

We meet thursday nights at the Grimsby Leisure Center in the pool, it is appreciated if you can contact the acting head coach to confirm that there is a space in the first sesson for new comers.

We also have a dock session on saturday mornings (10am) for the paddlers to get used to the outside water. We meet behind sainsburys where the Lincoln Castle used to be, and where the ross tiger is, we get in the water by the ABP pump, which is where parents/gaurdians wait and talk amongst themselves. The club is always happy to see new members interested in kayaking, and with the new Paddle Sport star system in place, everyone will get a taste of a wide variety of kayaking and canoeing
